"Facebook takes a list of friends and creates a personal newspaper spliced together from the actions of people in your network. It goes beyond the early experiments in social networking which started with bare bones links to people, followed by blog like profiles (but for the 99.999% of people who don't really want or need a blog)."I for my part am increasingly bored with Facebook. Bored and fascinated at the same time. Depending on what kind of friends one has befriended it can be really informational and useful, or just... well electronic fish wrapper. Ah! Poor poor fish! Actually boredom turns into fascination for me when I move my perspective from working tools to sandbox. Facebook is still at the sandbox level. If you have time, go play with it. Sometimes I do.

Danni, if you are bored with Facebook, have you had a look at Cinnaminta? It is a very new idea where you can request a performance or reading of almost anything you want from almost anywhere around the world. It is like a proactive, requests-version of YouTube. Have a look at www.cinnaminta.com/en/boredwithfacebook.htm
